Celebrate Progeny Asset Management’s First Anniversary at Bowcliffe Hall

As Progeny Asset Management approaches its first year in business, we will be celebrating with a lunch for clients on 15th November in the impressive surroundings of Bowcliffe Hall. There are more details of how you can join us for the lunch below, but as we mark this milestone it’s a good opportunity to reflect on our first 12 months.

Our Ethos

Progeny Asset Management was established to offer a tailored investment management solution to our clients, to help them to navigate the financial markets and grow and preserve their wealth. We concentrate on creating a bespoke service, building portfolios specifically to match the investment goals of each individual client and the high-net-worth families we work with. We also can provide a model approach for smaller portfolios.

What we believe sets us apart is our independent and personal approach. We take time to really get to know our clients and identify their investment objectives and attitudes to risk before we structure their portfolios. We then work with them to consider a broad range of investments including cash, fixed interest, equities, and alternatives such as infrastructure.

As part of the Progeny Group, we are incredibly committed to the broader ambition to create the first multi-service professional platform designed to match client goals with the skills and expertise of the many professionals within the group. We’ll always work hard to truly understand our clients’ aspirations and to give the quality service and bespoke structuring they deserve.

Current Climate

From a global, political perspective it’s been a year filled with surprises and significant developments: Donald Trump’s election to President of the United States; Theresa May’s snap election to shore up support which ended up with a reduced Conservative majority; and the wrangling and deadlock of the Brexit negotiations. Such events will have national and international implications, affecting our daily lives as well as the financial markets.

At times like this it’s more important than ever to have the support of tailored and personal financial advice to keep your investment goals on track. At Progeny Asset Management, because we work hard to understand your investment aspirations, our experienced discretionary managers can make investment decisions with your best interests at heart, ensuring that your goals are met.

Restoration and Inspiration at Bowcliffe Hall

Built between 1805 and 1825, Bowcliffe Hall has a wonderfully long and rich history, and over the years has been called home by a number of families and businesses. After a successful first year, it seems fitting to get together with our valued clients to mark the occasion in such auspicious surroundings.

In 2010 the current owner of Bowcliffe Hall, Jonathan Turner, began an extensive redevelopment and restoration of Bowcliffe, costing over £7m. This incredible project not only included the restoration of the Hall itself, but also of many of the surrounding estate buildings. In addition, Jonathan built one of Europe’s best treehouses – the multi-award-winning Blackburn Wing, designed and named after previous Bowcliffe owner and famous Yorkshireman, Robert Blackburn. Jonathan will be giving a speech on the story of Bowcliffe Hall at the lunch for all to enjoy.

Bowcliffe Hall retains the stately atmosphere of a country house whilst the multi-million-pound restoration sees it regarded as the most inspirational and beautiful events and conferencing facility in Yorkshire – a perfect venue to acknowledge our first twelve months. We look forward to celebrating many successful anniversaries in future with our wonderful clients.

The lunch will take place on Wednesday 15 November. If you would like to attend and join us to celebrate our first year, please contact us before Wednesday 8 November on 0113 244 9737, or email [email protected].
